The Google Street View | Trusted Process

The following is a typical walkthrough of the Google Street View | Trusted process.

Consultations:
Consultations can take place in different ways we can arrange to meet at the business to be photographed or we can arrange a photo shoot and set the date and time by phone. We would discuss the Shoot, Fees, Timescale, Pre-preparation and the Google business photo photography services agreement.

Client Preparation:
Before the shoot you will need to prepare your business for the shoot. Your Business will look as good as the work you put in beforehand. It is best not to overdress as you need to give an accurate view for your potential customers. Our photographer will not shoot blind and will certainly help with anything that may seem out of place

You will also need to make sure you have a Verified Google Plus Business page, If you do not have one at this time now is a good time to register. You can do this here. (There may already be a Google Plus page in place you may need to just verify it is yours.)

Photo Shoot:
We will visit your business at the agreed date and time to perform the shoot. Before the shoot you will need to digitally sign an agreement with Google to allow use of the images. Also a short service agreement between the Business and Photographer will need to be signed. The shoot will vary in time depending on the size of your business and the number of panos needed to create a fluid walkthrough. An hour is usually enough time to complete the shoot. The shoot is always conducted with the minimum of disruption. Payment is required at the end of the shoot.

Post Production:
All the photos are then moderated by the photographer and uploaded to the Google server where any faces and vehicle number plates will be blurred. The Virtual tour is created by linking the panos together to give as fluid a movement as possible through your business. The Point of Interest photos are also uploaded and tagged at this point. Once the shoot has passed quality control the Images will be published to the web. You will receive an Email from us when your tour has been published.

Completion:
Once the photos have been published they will appear in the Google Places Business listing and the Google maps page and search results. At this point your are free to embed the tour on your own website or social networking site. If you need any help with this please ask and we will be happy to point you in the right direction. We will also provide you with a CD/DVD with all of the images at full resolution which you can use for other marketing purposes of your choice.

A Note about payment:
No images will be published until full payment has been received, as payment is usually made on the day of the shoot this shouldn’t be a problem.
